Balmoral Beach - More family oriented, with a large Kids playground and bigger crowds. Amazing for picnics and amazing sunsets
Burdekin Rooftop - Local's favorite, sunday's bottomless brunch, music, drinks, friends and drag queens on the roof
Jogging Maroubra Beach to Malabar Beach - Local's favorite, less crowded, no cars and full trail is along the ocean, great for ocean selfies too
Livvi's Place Five Dock - Local's favorite - huge playground for kids, full day of fun and the parents can watch, have a drink and mingle with the other parents, perfect on a saturday afternoon
Manly Wormhole - seaside tunnel on Manly Beach, gorgeous, little bit hard to find, and connects Queenscliff and Freshwater beaches *selfies heaven
Bondi Market - Tourist must see, but be beware, it is so good you might spend all day at the market instead of the beach
Baithouse Cafe - beautiful view over Gap Park and the water. great australian cuisine, known for fish & chips
Tamarama Beach - just as beautiful as Manly and Bondi, but a bit less touristic as the water can be (much) more rowdy. more favorited by more experiences surfers
Iceberg Bar - Bondi Beach - Private members club for locals, however visitors can also gain entry. Famous for infinity pool overlooking sea
Bopp & Tone Restaurant - relatively new restaurant (2018) very posh and old-worldly. serving local seafood (on a 900KG wood grill) and unique cocktail classics with an australian twist (such as the Old Fashioned mixed with wattleseed (my friend's favorite)
Felix - authentic french brasserie, extensive wine list, interior features original french subway tiles *this is a brasserie to properly splurge
6 Head - Beautiful restaurant with magnificent view of the Opera House. Also features 'dining domes' for private dining
Old Mates Place - local favorite, speakeasy style cocktail and rooftop bar - hard to find the entrance- true gem.
Circular Quay - Sydney's major transport hub, railway, ferries and cruise ships, it's where most of the tourist's arriving in Sydney their adventure starts (overlooking the Opera House)
Centennial Park - beautiful park rivaling NY's Central Park, it boasts playgrounds, sportsfields and hiking trails.
